I’ve served God for a long time, especially as a humanitarian aid worker. I’ve also suffered a lot of loss and pain because of it. I suffered as a child under abusive parents. But I stuck in the end with God, and I’m still in the mission field. For some time now, I’ve believed strongly, with faith like Joshua asking God to “stop” the sun, in a specific thing. It was a place I believe he called me to, a place I have yearned for, and there not only was I to have a family of friends at long last, but I felt I could finally have a home. And then it all fell away, and I lost everything in one day. I was even arrested and jailed for a week for my work in the Kingdom (I worked in a closed nation that persecutes Christians). Everything I felt God lead me in, all the hope he gave me, was all robbed from me. I can’t trust him anymore. I trusted him for so long, watched him part red seas, and give me “manna”. But now I feel as though he deceived me, and I already have trust issues.

What matters most is: For what have I believed? Have I lived as a true Christian whose goal is the hope of Christ, following the love of the cross that sacrifices even one’s own life? Or, serving God together with the world and material wealth—utterly outside Scripture—have I chased every kind of distortion, heresy, and falsehood, seeking only my own happiness, blessing, success, and prosperity? Living only the outward pattern of a true Christian life—posing as a true Christian or as a beautiful child of God—have I not, perhaps, been doing so? If you read what follows, you will see how absurdly and greatly sinful such a faith is before God. Mere churchgoers are not true Christians; such a posture dishonors the true Christian who lives the life of Christ, sacrificing every ideal and even life itself. One who teaches only with words throughout their life is not a shepherd of God. Also, a faith of the flesh that, throughout life, merely follows words of teaching and inspiration, repeating awakenings, resolutions, and determinations, only to pile up sin endlessly, is not the beautiful life of a true Christian. One who teaches only with words throughout their life is not a shepherd of God. Also, a faith of the flesh that, throughout life, merely follows words of teaching and inspiration, repeating awakenings, resolutions, and determinations, only to pile up sin endlessly, is not the beautiful life of a Christian.

He who commits sin is a servant of sin and merely a child of the devil. Without even knowing the fundamental reason why they cannot help but commit sin until death, the awakenings, resolutions, and determinations of believers that come only from sermons filled with words—teachings and emotions that cannot put to death evil habits and the body—are nothing more than human instruction and the stirring of human feelings, which can never lead beyond the human limitation of repeating sin until death. The emotional inspiration of men through intellect and head is not the wisdom of love nor the truth of love within God’s love, where the power of God works.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.(John 8 : 34)

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16~18)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 8)

Because they spend their whole lives teaching only with words, the sermons of pastors who stir up nothing but awakenings, resolutions, and determinations—without the power of God manifesting within the love of God—are merely human instruction and human emotion that cannot overcome the human limitation of endlessly repeating sin until death. They teach as though it were God’s grace, God’s instruction, or God’s inspiration, but in reality, it is nothing more than the same word-based, theory-driven teachings and emotions that all religions and all heresies cling to, which can only lead people to repeat sin. This is not the truth of God in which the power of God works. In other words, even the people of the world can deliver sermons that consist only of human words and human emotion. But in such human inspiration, which relies on self, repeats only one’s own will, pride, and determination, there can never be the power of God that destroys the cycle of repeated sin.

All religions and Christianity are not made by God. Therefore, since the founding of Christianity, as the Scriptures testify, there has not existed a single person on this earth who has borne even the evidence or fruit of faith as small as a grain of mustard seed. The history of Christianity throughout every generation and every age has already borne witness to this. In other words, they are lying, calling Christians—who have no evidence of faith as small as a mustard seed and who cannot help but endlessly repeat sin until death—children of God, or true believers in Christ. But are all these Christians, who ceaselessly repeat sin, truly those who follow the beautiful love of Christ and live as the true Christians who become examples of salt and light? The Word says that the children of God do not commit sin. It also says they are freed from sin and pursue righteousness and goodness.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.(1 John 5 : 18~19)

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.(1 John 3 : 3~10)

Because they serve God together with the world and material wealth, their prayers—being for nothing but worldly ideals, hopes, happiness, blessings—are prayers for lust in which demons must inevitably work. Thus those who seek the world receive the god of this world; those who seek wealth receive the god of wealth; those who seek lust receive the god of lust; those who seek carnal passion receive carnal passion—as if such were God, or Christ, or an angel, disguised and masquerading. The more than one hundred passages of Scripture written in this article will clearly and unmistakably bear witness to this truth.

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself: And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.(Ezekiel 14 : 3~9)

And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.(Ezekiel 14 : 4~11)

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.(Isaiah 66 : 1~4)

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.(1 Corinthians 12 : 1~2)

This means that your standard has become the Word, Christ, and even God Himself—not by faith grounded in the Scriptures, but by interpreting and judging according to your own preferences, thoughts, and opinions. Repentance begins when we, who cannot help but repeat sin until the day we die, look into the Word and discern what is wrong. Repentance that continues while sin is endlessly repeated is meaningless. The fundamental purpose of repentance is the repentance of being born again, so that sin is never committed again. Therefore, Christians who continue to repeat sin are not true Christians, regardless of who they are. A true Christian does not commit sin. Likewise, the children of God are set free from sin and do not commit sin. Do not be deceived: whoever commits sin is nothing but a child of the devil. Truth is what leads us to receive the power of God. In other words, it is to be supplied with the love of God, who is the very source of love, so that we may obtain the wisdom of His power. This guides us beyond the human limitation of endlessly repeating sin throughout life by relying only on one’s own awakenings, resolutions, and determinations, and instead, by following the power that comes from God’s love, it leads all mankind to be freed from sin and to be born again through the wisdom of God’s power.

All religions are made by man. Therefore, since they are man-made, no religious person within them can ever escape the limits of humanity. Thus, all religious people remain Christians who cannot escape the human limitation of endlessly repeating sin, never showing even the power, evidence, or fruit as small as a grain of mustard seed.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.(2 Thessalonians 2 : 3~12)

Truth is the wisdom of God in which the power of God works. Theology, doctrines, studies, and theories that arise from the knowledge, experiences, and wisdom of man—shaped by human intellect and head, by learning and practice—are nothing more than the same forms found in all religions, and they are not the wisdom of God that is received in the heart through the working of His power. It is through the working of God’s power, poured out in His love, that we are endowed with the power of God to do good and pursue righteousness. This is the divine ideal that can never be understood, nor even grasped, by human common sense, experience, ability, or limitation.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.(2 Timothy 3 : 16~17)

If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.(1 Timothy 4 : 6)

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4 : 15~16)

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 : 17~23)

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.(1 John 3 : 3~4)

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.(Romans 5 : 5)

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.(Titus 2 : 11~15)

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.(Colossians 2 : 18~19)

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.(Titus 2 : 7~14)

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 : 17~23)

The one who commits sin is thereby proven by the Word to belong to the world, and the one who continues in sin is, according to the Scriptures, a child of the devil. You also are not a Christian, and that is why today’s result has come about. Do not become a so-called Christian who, until death, can only repeat sin and is no different from those of the world, but rather become a Christian who lives the life of Christ, aiming for the hope of Christ and growing to resemble the beautiful character of God. Christians today all pursue a fleshly faith that seeks only their own happiness, success, and ideals according to their desires, and thus their prayers are nothing more than vain prayers, piling up sin, being in no way different from the people of the world. Such fleshly faith, driven only by the lies, wickedness, deceit, vanity, and lusts stirred up by Satan, can only lead to judgment. Like Esau, it cannot bring forth true repentance, and because it does not receive the love of the truth, it must inevitably end in judgment.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.(Titus 3 : 3~7)

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.(1 John 3 : 14)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.….(2 Thessalonians 2 : 9~17)

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.(3 John 1 : 11)

But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.(James 4 : 16~17)

The repentance of Christians who cannot overcome the human limitation of endlessly repeating sin until death is nothing more than a hollow excuse, which only increases the cunning of justifying and rationalizing sin. When the command to repent was given, it was spoken to all men, to all religious people, and to all Christians who repeat sin. I will show you the true path of a true Christian that you genuinely seek.
