I know it’s “live by faith not by sight” but it gets dry, and I get tired and I get complacent and sink into stupid entrainment idols like my phone or whatever. Life is really dull. And well I don’t really desire to fall into things i would do to satiate my flesh like I used to, because conviction kind of eats me, and well nothing really satisfies anymore, or at least doesn’t feel right. Kind of makes me think of those believers who forsake everything to go live in arid, dry dessert places. If they actually found it worth it and found what we all seek for, or at least what I seek for, which I don’t even know what is anymore.

All Christians appear as though they are seeking and believing in God on their own. However, most Christians do not realize that, because they serve God along with the world and material things, they inevitably follow all kinds of corruption, heresies, and falsehoods. A faith that pursues one’s own happiness, success, blessings, and prosperity according to the lust of the flesh is a denial of the love of the cross and a contempt for the holy will of God—it is a faith of the flesh. In other words, because it is a faith driven by the lusts of the flesh, sin must inevitably be repeated until death. To claim to believe in God while living a life of the flesh that continually repeats sinning and repenting, sinning and repenting, is nothing less than denying the love of the cross and despising the will of God who is love.
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.(2 Peter 2 : 10)
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.(John 8 : 34)
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.(1 John 3 : 6~10)
Today, the majority of Christians hold a vain faith that seeks only their own happiness and blessings—praying only for family problems, business problems, workplace problems, relationship problems, children’s problems, and health problems. This is nothing more than the ideal of all who live according to the world, and it is the desire, demand, and pursuit of every heresy.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.(Exodus 20 : 7)
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. (Hebrews 12 : 16~17)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.(2 Corinthians 7 : 10)
The fundamental reason God created mankind is that we might forsake everything of our own, take up the cross, and follow after the love of God. Truth is not the preaching of man that stirs up awakening, determination, and resolve through words and theories. Rather, it is to receive the power of God that, supplied by His love and manifested within that love, puts to death the sinful habits and members that otherwise would compel us to repeat sinning and repenting until the day we die. In other words, truth is that which leads us to obtain the power of God by following after His love. There is an e-book titled Moses’ Burning Bush(Author : Yo Han Lee). Read it, and visit the Moses’ Burning Bush website(https://mosesbush.com) to seek out answers to all the questions you may have, and if you desire to ask more, do so within it.
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.(Romans 5 : 2~10)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.(Titus 2 : 11~14)
