Something I’ve always wondered is why God created us and the universe. He’s perfect, self sufficient and he has no need for us. I don’t question whether or not God loves us, I just don’t fully understand WHY he made humans and the earth to begin with
.
This world and this universe were also created for humans. You are asking this question because you do not know the fundamental purpose for which humans were created. If all priests and pastors are shepherds of God, this question should be a fundamental one. However, in today’s Christian sermons, there is not a single pastor who teaches about these fundamental issues. It is truly a devastating situation. The fundamental reason God created humans is because, as we know, angels are not perfect. God created humans due to the fallen thrones(Ezekiel 28 : 1-19), the fallen angels(Jude 1 : 6, 2 peter 2 : 4), and the fallen sons of God. In other words, these beings were God’s children, but they could not fully obey Him because they lacked the ability to distinguish between complete good and evil, righteousness and sin, and they had no humility. Just as light is appreciated because darkness exists, sin and evil exist so that we may fully learn and distinguish righteousness and virtue. Thus, as the Bible states, “the flesh is sinful.” We learn about sin and evil through our physical bodies, while our spirit (conscience) learns righteousness and virtue. The purpose of this process is to shape us into children who possess the character and wisdom of God, making us complete and perfect like Him. This is why we are learning about sin and evil through our physical existence. The only way to escape from the depths of sin and evil is to receive God’s power. However, within Christianity, teachings are limited to moving people’s hearts through words, offering moral lessons, inspiring resolutions, and encouraging determination. They fail to go beyond that. Yet, the Bible says that the Word of God is power. We must learn the truth that allows us to receive God’s power. Truth is not merely a moral lesson, an emotional sermon, or an inspiring message. True teaching is about receiving the power that comes from pursuing God’s love.
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.(Ezekiel 28 : 11-19)
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.(Judas 1 : 6)
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;(2 Peter 2 : 4)
