Obviously sins aren’t a good thing and God doesn’t want us to do it, why did he create the idea of a sin if he doesn’t want us to do it?

Light is beautiful because darkness exists. It is through darkness that we can truly recognize the presence of light. In the same way, goodness exists because sin exists, allowing us to discern the precious value of virtue. In other words, sin must exist so that we can fully distinguish between good and evil, righteousness and sin. Therefore, light and darkness, good and sin, righteousness and evil—all are necessary and hold significant value. He came to call sinners. Through sin, He seeks to place all humanity in humility, for sin grants the grace that leads to humility.

For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.(Romans 11 : 32)

Today, there are very few who teach and learn that the human flesh is Satan. As a result, there are too many believers who deny that they are repeatedly sinning and feel no guilt in their conscience.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.(2 Corinthians 12 : 7)

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.(John 8 : 44)

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.(Ephesians 2 : 2-3)

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.(Psalms 51 : 5)

Today, all people repent and reflect, yet inevitably turn back and commit sin again because they live a life following the sinful nature of the flesh.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. (1 John 3 : 8)

In the beginning, even though sin existed, it was not regarded as sin. This was because there was no law that defined sin as sin.

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.(Romans 5 : 13)

When sin was not regarded as sin, the throne, the angels, and Adam ignored God’s warning not to do what was forbidden. As a result, humanity was born into a state of repeatedly committing sin, and Satan came into existence.

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.(Ezekiel 28 : 1-19)

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:(Genesis 3 : 22)

The meaning of the above is that the original sinner was not actually Adam, who is referred to as the bearer of original sin today, but rather the King of Tyrus, who was called Satan and became a figure of astonishment and warning to all humanity.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;(2 Peter 2 : 4)

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.(Judas 1 : 6)

The above content is a record concerning the fallen angels, serving as evidence that there are no completely perfect angels of God, as claimed in contemporary Christianity. In other words, even angels are not perfect like God, which is why they are capable of sinning. The King of Tyrus, the angels, and Adam all sinned because they, unlike God, were not fully able to comprehend the complete principles and nature of sin. This is why a human body, suitable for teaching about sin and evil, was necessary. Thus, the human body is the very vessel that gives birth to sin and evil. The King of Tyrus was the first to become Satan because he, in the past, fed the forbidden fruit to Eve, leading to the birth of the human flesh, which today is considered the body of the devil. Satan refers to deities who, like humans, possess a physical body. Therefore, since humans also have a physical body, the Bible refers to them as children of Satan, children of the devil, or adversaries. As a result, all humans inevitably follow the evil nature and tendencies inherited from the flesh. This is why the nature of humans, driven by the desires of the flesh, makes them children of wrath before God. Hence, it is said that He came to call sinners.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others…(Ephesians 2 : 3-7)

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16-18)

A teaching that merely leads believers to repeatedly awaken, make resolutions, and reaffirm their commitments through the lessons and emotions of a sermon is not true truth. True truth is receiving God’s power, which fundamentally eliminates the habitual cycle of sin—where one repents and reflects throughout life yet inevitably falls back into sin. Receiving the nourishment of love through spiritual gifts is what true truth is.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.(2 Timothy 3 : 16-17)

If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.(1 Timothy 4 : 6)

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.(Titus 2 : 11-15)

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4 : 15-16)

In other words, it is about receiving the divine power that transcends human limitations—something that cannot be achieved through human awakening, resolutions, or determinations. This power is the truth of God, revealed within His love. It is not the lessons, words, or emotional inspiration derived from human sermons and theories. Rather than mere human awakening, resolutions, and determinations that lead only to repetitive cycles of sin within meaningless repentance and reflection, it is about receiving the power of love that is manifested within the evidence of God’s love.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.(2 Timothy 3 : 16-17)

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.(1 Corinthians 2 : 5)

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.(2 Corinthians 13 : 4)

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.(1 Corinthians 4 : 20)

Repeating sin is evidence that one belongs to the devil. Moreover, following the desires of the flesh while believing in God reveals that one’s faith is centered on personal happiness, success, and prosperity—nothing more than a fleshly religion. Such a person ultimately lives only a worldly and carnal life, driven by their own lusts and selfish desires, inevitably repeating sin. Instead of living a true Christian life—one that follows the love of Christ and the life of the Spirit (the life of Christ)—they pursue a distorted faith that compromises with the world, serving both God and material things. This is a faith corrupted by heresy, falsehood, and worldly influences. Such faith, rooted in the world and the flesh, cannot unite with the love of God.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.(1 John 2 : 15-16)

Unless one receives the power that comes from following God’s love, they will inevitably have a faith that only accumulates sin, unable to escape the human limitation of repeating sin throughout their entire life. This is why we must have to receive the gift of God’s power, which works through His love.

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 : 17-23)

Anyone who does not belong to God’s love is not a child of God. Because they are not God’s children, they continue to repeat sin. If one’s faith in God is solely for their own happiness, success, and prosperity, then it is merely a fleshly faith that makes them an adversary before God, leading them to a lifetime of repeated sin. Praying only for personal happiness and success—for family problems, children’s issues, business struggles, workplace difficulties, or health concerns—is a faith of the flesh, a self-centered belief that revolves entirely around oneself.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.(2 Corinthians 7 : 10)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 8)

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.(Romans 13 : 14)

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.(Romans 7 : 25)

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.(1 John 2 : 15-16)

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.(Matthew 6 : 24)

Believing in God or praying in His name does not necessarily mean that God is the one at work. A faith that solely pursues happiness, success, and prosperity—just like that of worldly people—is entirely influenced by Satan, who masquerades as God, Christ, or even an angel. When one seeks after lust, the spirit of lust responds. When one seeks after greed, the spirit of greed responds. When one seeks after wealth, the spirit of wealth responds. When one seeks after the world, the spirit of the world responds. When one seeks after carnal desires, the spirit of carnal desires responds—appearing as if it were Christ or God at work.

..Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.(Isaiah 66 : 2-4)

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the alter? What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.(1 Corinthians 10 : 18-21)

… but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.(Isaiah 66 : 2-4)

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.(1 Corinthians 12 : 1-2)

Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.(2 Chronicles 18 : 20-22)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness…(2 Thessalonians 2 : 9-17)

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;(1 Timothy 4 : 1-2)

Leading people to receive the power of love is the true truth. Words that merely stir emotions, inspire resolutions, and awaken determination—yet only cause a lifetime of repeated sin—are not the truth. They are merely human teachings that manipulate emotions, not the divine truth that manifests God’s power within His love. Those who pursue the truth of power receive God’s power, which frees them from sin and prevents them from repeating it. If sin continues to repeat in your life, then your faith is nothing more than a belief that leads to judgment and wrath.

…Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.(1 John 4 : 1-8)

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.(Jeremiah 23 : 21-22)

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.(James 5 : 19-20)

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.(1 Peter 4 : 1-2)

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; …(1 John 5 : 18-20)

…He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.(1 John 3 : 3-9)

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.(John 8 : 34)
